Anyway, I'm crazy busy today, so I don't have time to thoroughly read or think through this post of his noodling on extraction versus strength (which just popped up in my reader today), though I'd sure like to.
So, since I'm pretty sure some of you folks who may have been poking around on the newly very popular employment page on our website, may have poked around enough to end up over here at the blog. If so, you're probably on the right track. We're all about curious minds.
(Actually, scrub that.) Just go poke around for fun... this guy's the epitome (and thankfully, you don't have to be this hardcore)!
PS- Sorry about all the asides... I think I may actually have drunk too much coffee today!
PPS- Oh, and shout-outs to Tony and co. at Metropolis today for top spot in the coffee showdown in the Trib today! Yay for good coffee! (You 2, Intelly!)

I see the lights the last few nights. Are we maybe going to see some coffee this weekend in the Hood? The chill this weekend might be a good chance to unlesh some on the neighbors.....

No, not opening this weekend. As you can see though, we are burning the ol' midnight oil trying to get the doors open as soon as possible. I'm sure you'll be the first to know when we're actually open.
As for roasters, despite being huge Metropolis fans, we're partnering with Intelligentisia for our coffees. We met with roasters from all over the country in order to select who to work with. Yet both these local operations made the top of our list.
In the end, Intelly seemed a better fit for us. And you can get your Metropolis fix just down the street at m.Henry, or pretty close by at the roastworks/cafe on Granville. That's not to say we won't be excited about pulling some Red Line (Metropolis espresso) at the shop as a guest espresso from time to time though. We're all friends around here in the pursuit of making great coffee!
You guys aren't taking anymore applications, so does that mean you're all interviewing and hiring now? And does that mean you guys will be opening soon pretty soon then?!
Any Word Guys. Anything for us to nibble on?
